Fellow Battalion wars enthusiast,Over the past month I was able to setup Alt Wfc on my Nintendo Wii, thereby enabeling me to play Battalion wars II online once again. It didn't shock me to find out that there were no other online players.
That's something you can expect when the online feature isn't accessible anymore. (without having to mod anything)For those who have Alt Wfc, battalion wars II and want to play online battles once more.
Here is my friend code: 107 374 238 427. I hope to play battalion wars II online once again, just like in the old days. One more thing before I post this: I just want to say that I am really impressed by the works of: Marbrinus, Ephraim226 and DebugYoshi. The fact that they are able to mod Battalion wars and Battalion wars II is amazing and I hope they will continue their modding. That's all for now.
Thank you for your support.Indeed, Altwfc is the way to play BWii online now, and because the userbase that knows about BWii AND about Altwfc is small, matchmaking won't work. The way to play the game online now is to meet up, choose an Altwfc server (there are several, each hosted by somebody else, and friend codes from one won't work in another I think), exchange friend codes and try to decide on a time at which to play.I do not have my friend code (and the altwfc server name) at hand, but I would be interested in playing the game online again at some point.
